24.1 Conditional Sentences

A conditional sentence consists of a condition and a conclusion. The condition is an adjunct clause whose primary clause is the conclusion.

"If John sits on that chair, it will break."

24.2 Satisfactive and Result Constructions

A result construction is essentially a conditional sentence with the condition usually implied. A satisfactive construction consists of a satisfactive clause and a result construction, which may be contrafactual, possible, or factual.

The satisfactive clause contains one of the satisfactive words: ca "so, enough", can "at such a time", and comode "in such a way".

Janno ca grave, eso stolo(?) vafraktaze(?).
"John is so heavy, that chair will break."
