Jul13 Glyphs

The native writing system uses an alphabet of 22 letters plus 1 diacritic. 17 of the letters represent consonants and 5 represent vowels. The diacritic is a length mark, used on both vowels and consonants. The alphabet is written from left to right.

The alphabet is transliterated using ASCII letters. The ASCII consonant letters are b c d f g h k l m n p q r s t x z and the ASCII vowel letters are a e i o u. The length mark is transliterated by doubling the letter.
