Specific Markers

Except for the initial prefix (jaguar's role or pronominal person), the prefixes come in pairs (rhyme plus onset): either both appear or neither do.

Case Roots

The case elements replace the root in pronouns and postpositions. When the pronoun is 3rd person and the case is not absolutive, at least 1 affix must be marked; otherwise, the word will be a postposition.

Derivation

Nouns may be derived from verb roots by appending a classifier suffix and marking the aspect and mood as nominal (Nom-). Zero-derivation of a noun from a verb may be accomplished by just marking the aspect and mood as nominal. Conversely, zero-derivation of a verb form a noun may be accomplished by marking the aspect and mood as something other than nominal.
