LCC3 Relay Translation

The original text for the 3rd Language Creation Conference Relay was a poem by David J. Peterson. The K'tlê  translation was from Amanda Furrow's Mërèchi .

  nio̅tepzaz ti̅nno: A Child's Story:
1. zano' ti̅klozatl, Once,
zenko zantaci̅mozto. I was sitting near an ocean.
2. leohoepzo̅ t'hazatl, As a wave broke,
taci̅m k'he̅naka. saltwater passed over me.
3. leohoepzo̅ k'kate̅o̅natl Not fighting the wave,
kialanzema. I was made joyful.
4. k'zohla I dreamed about
k'zipateaz leohoepzoin zano' k'halzina. waves approaching me from far away.
5. t'haze̅, While they were breaking,
k'xazo̅me̅ kiazzonke̅haz. I felt them stroking me.
6. hemok'tip'tli —> mok'tip'me Being —> It being able to travel,
leohoepzo̅ kiaclo̅pa hi̅k'mazza zano' halzipa. a wave carried me far away.

Note the corrections in the first part of line 6! To refer to the wave, a coreferential form must be used; otherwise, a non-sequiter occurs.
