The native writing system uses an alphabet of 15 letters plus 2 punctuation symbols. 10 of the letters represent consonants and 5 represent vowels. The punctuation symbols are a word separator and a sentence terminator.
There are both carved and handwritten versions, the latter derived from the former, which adds 6 letters to the Nov19 alphabet.
The alphabet is mapped onto the ASCII letters. The ASCII consonant letters are: P T K S C M N H R J and the ASCII vowel letters are: I E A O U.
